Leading Slovak academic and guarantor of the “Structural Collapses 2024” conference, Associate Professor Ing. Martin Moravčík, PhD (Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Žilina), has published an article on ebeton.cz titled “Emergency Condition and Reconstruction of the Segmental Bridge over the Ružín Reservoir,” in collaboration with Ing. Jozef Jošt, PhD (Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Žilina), Ing. Pavol Kubík (Dopravoprojekt a.s.), and Ing. Viktor Kanda (STRABAG s.r.o.). The bridge reconstruction received the “Building of the Year 2018” award for its economic efficiency and innovative project design.
