In the Czech Republic, the reliability of post-tensioned roof trusses of industrial halls from 1960-1980, which reach or exceed their service life, is a current problem. Connecting the parts with prestressing ropes, which often have not been sufficiently grouted, leads to corrosion of the reinforcement and in extreme cases to accidents. <\/p>\n

Diagnostic investigations revealed problems particularly in the area of reinforcement anchorage and extreme tension diagonals. Nearly 1 750 probes were carried out during the surveys, which confirmed the deficiencies, particularly in the anchorage of the prestressing reinforcement. <\/p>\n
