Leading Slovak academic and guarantor of the “Structural Collapses 2024<\/a>” conference, Associate Professor Ing. Martin Morav\u010d\u00edk, PhD (Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of \u017dilina<\/a>), has published an article on ebeton.cz<\/a> titled “Emergency Condition and Reconstruction of the Segmental Bridge over the Ru\u017e\u00edn Reservoir<\/a>,” in collaboration with Ing. Jozef Jo\u0161t, PhD (Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of \u017dilin<\/a>a), Ing. Pavol Kub\u00edk (Dopravoprojekt a.s.<\/a>), and Ing. Viktor Kanda (STRABAG s.r.o.<\/a>). The bridge reconstruction received the “Building of the Year 2018” award for its economic efficiency and innovative project design. The ebeton.cz<\/a> portal is an independent source of information on concrete, reinforced concrete structures, and concrete building materials. It is also the publisher of the magazine Beton<\/a> for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
