He has been professionally engaged in the field of concrete structures and foundation engineering since 1982. Until 1990, he worked as a structural designer at A1 Stavoprojekt in Liberec. In December 1990, he established his own design office, specializing in structural engineering (now Statika, projek\u010dn\u00ed kancel\u00e1\u0159 s.r.o. since 2007), which he led until 2020. Over the years, he has served as the lead structural engineer for numerous large projects both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
Currently, he is a member of the Structural Engineers’ Activity Group of the Czech Chamber of Authorized Engineers and Technicians (\u010cKAIT) and a member of the \u010cKAIT examination board for the field of Structural and Building Dynamics. Since 2010, he has worked as a structural engineer for the Integrated Rescue System of the Liberec Region, collaborating on various emergency situations. He earned his doctorate in 2020 with a dissertation on the reliability of existing concrete structures. He has been a faculty member at the Faculty of Art and Architecture (FUA) since 1999, where he currently leads the Department of Structural Engineering and teaches specialized courses. <\/p>\n
